Alentejo Tour – Heritage, Gastronomy, and Handicrafts

Morning: Visit to Redondo Castle, built by King Afonso III in 1250 on the ruins of an ancient Roman fortress.

Visit to the Enoteca, a restoration of the former People’s Granary, creating a refined environment for tasting local gastronomy and wines. Tasting of some of the best wines from Alentejo, with a focus on local grape varieties. Accompaniments: Local cheeses, cured meats, and traditional Alentejo bread served in ceramic pieces.(Not included in the price)

Afternoon:  Visit to the Museum of Pottery – History of Ceramics: From the Neolithic, with significant expression during the Roman period. Exhibition: Ceramic pieces showcasing the evolution of pottery production over the centuries.

Visit to Workshops: Meet the local pottery masters.

Shopping: Opportunity to purchase handmade pottery directley to the producers.
