Morning:

City Tour: Explore the charming city of Barcelos.Weekly Market: If the visit is on a Thursday, stop by the weekly market, one of the oldest in Portugal.

Landmarks: Visit the Church of Santa Maria Maior (13th century) and the Torre da Porta Nova (15th century).

Pottery Tradition:Discover the region’s pottery heritage, which dates back to Roman times.Visit the Pottery Museum with over 9,000 pieces on display. Highlights: Portuguese ceramics (matte and glazed) and international pieces from countries like Angola, Brazil, and Cape Verde.

Afternoon:

Visit local artisans’ workshops to learn about the craft of the Barcelos figurines.Highlight: The iconic Barcelos Rooster.
